Meet the Presenters:

Duncan Grant – Participated in Mastering Mountains, an initiative that empowers people to overcome physical and mental challenges through outdoor adventure.

Debbie Thomas – Took part in Outward Bound, a program designed to build resilience, confidence, and personal growth through immersive outdoor experiences.

Kevin Miller – Experienced Oceans of Hope, a sailing adventure that fosters connection, empowerment, and a renewed sense of possibility for people with MS.

Special Guests:

Nick Allen – Manager & Trustee of Mastering Mountains Charitable Trust. Based in Ōtautahi (Christchurch), Nick founded the Mastering Mountains Charitable Trust after being diagnosed with a neurological disease. His journey with functional neurological disorder (FND) and fibromyalgia has inspired him to create a supportive and active community for others facing similar challenges.

Ingrid Robertson – As one of the dedicated volunteers and captains at Oceans of Hope, Ingrid plays a key role in making these transformative sailing experiences possible. Her passion and commitment help create a supportive and empowering environment for participants navigating life with MS.
