📚 Help Make the Rotary Kaipātiki Book Fair a Success! 📚The legendary Rotary Kaipātiki Book Fair is back from 1-3 October at Northcote College, and we need a few more volunteers to help make this fantastic community event the best it can be.We're especially looking for people who can help collect donated books from Z Service Stations during September and deliver them to the sorting room at Northcote College.We're currently seeking volunteers with cars who can assist with collections from:📍 Z Lakeside (cnr Taharoto and Northcote Roads)📍 Z Constellation Drive (36 Constellation Drive)📍 Z Glen Park (241 Glenfield Road)If you have a vehicle and can lift and carry books (which can be heavy), we'd love to hear from you. 💃Can you help with research examining Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) as an approach to providing care and support to individuals living with cognitive complaints?Research participants wanted aged 25 - 85 who have multiple sclerosis and experience cognitive difficulties, living in New Zealand. You will be asked to participate in a focus group, including two workshops, to discuss your lived experiences and the opportunity to co-create a dance movement therapy programme for people with MS and cognitive difficulties.In the introduction workshop, the researchers will collect ideas/thoughts from interested participants about what they want the programme to deliver and how its outcomes could support your personal therapeutic goals. The demonstration workshop is for the facilitators to deliver the programme to interested participants. They would like to have feedback after participants experience the demonstration.The workshops will be held on 25 August and 30 October 2026 at Grafton Campus, with a morning session from 10 am – 1 pm, with free, accessible parking available. Snack and light refreshments will be provided, and a gift voucher will be given as a koha. A Zoom option will be available for those who are unable to attend in-person workshops.Interested?
