Kia ora, my name is Bronwyn, and I live with Primary Progressive MS. Since my diagnosis in February 2019, I’ve been fortunate to receive the ongoing support of MS Auckland and its dedicated Community Advisors. Their guidance has been both invaluable and life-changing, helping me navigate the challenges of living with MS and inspiring me to give back.
My passion is connecting — bringing people together, building relationships, and creating spaces where everyone feels supported and understood. As a Group Support Volunteer at Porana Road, I’ve had the privilege of seeing our group grow, strengthen, and develop a real sense of community. That experience has deepened my commitment to the MS community and motivated me to contribute at a governance level, where I can help ensure others receive the same level of care and connection that has meant so much to me.
