Honoring the Past, Embracing the Future

MS Auckland’s 60th commemoration event was an event to remember, filled with reflection, celebration, and forward-thinking inspiration. Held at the stunning Uxbridge Arts and Culture venue, the event brought together nearly 100 guests, passionate supporters, and key figures who have shaped MS Auckland’s legacy over six decades.

MS Auckland Ambassador Sam Smith expertly MC’d the evening, guiding guests through a programme of stories, tributes, and celebrations.

Futurist Dave Wild set the tone for the evening, challenging attendees to mind leap into the future of possibilities. He reminded everyone that we are all brilliant, encouraging an open perspective toward innovation and progress.

MS Auckland’s President, Jan Hollway, shared insightful reflections on the organisation’s journey, while guests and long-time supporters voiced their thoughts on MS Auckland’s past and future.  Nicola Bitossi, MS Auckland’s General Manager, highlighted the real difference that MS Auckland has made to people’s lives over the past decades.

A visually stunning exhibition captured the essence of MS Auckland’s people and impact over 60 years, spotlighting stories of dedication and transformation.

The event was a tribute of the past and a hopeful look toward the future. Lively conversations, heartfelt tributes, and a welcoming atmosphere made it a truly special occasion. Adding a unique touch, were Sharon Gutry’s handcrafted crochet butterflies —a meaningful keepsake symbolizing growth and connection.

Thanks to our generous supporters, guests enjoyed beautifully decorated 60th-themed cookies, cake, delicious canapés, and a fabulous silent auction and raffle.
